1320.1 Policy for Classes and Events on the WSU Campus
The Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine (BSOM) follows the Wright State University Emergency Closing Procedures Policy 13220 for all classes and events occurring on the Wright State University campus.
If opening of Wright State University is delayed, any on-campus activities will either be held virtually or canceled until the announced opening time. At that point, the remaining academic schedule for the day will be followed at the normally designated locations and times. Students will be informed of the decision to either hold class activities virtually or have them canceled no later than one (1) hour prior to the activity’s start time.

1320.2 Policy for Clinical Rotations
Doctoring phase students, faculty, and staff providing health care services are considered healthcare workers and will follow any inclement weather closings and policies of their assigned clinical site at the time of the severe weather event. Since students in clinical rotations are directly involved in health care delivery, each student must make their own decision in a weather emergency and are expected to report to their assigned location, unless otherwise approved by the clerkship/elective director.
